You have to see this one for yourself. It's a video clip from yet another "reality" show. Scroll to minute 8:00 to see Grogan in action. http://www.mtv.com/videos/bromance-ep-6-moment-of-truth/1603668/playlist.jhtml Jim IP: Logged |

Interesting, one of the boys said, "I've never had a lie detector test, before." Funny thing; he can still say that....Grogan will go down in history as the polygraph examiner who never was --- a polygraph examiner, that is. Jim

Hi All, I expected as much for Grogan, and in fact it is amazing that we assume he has actually learned the very materials he sells in his now 50 pound box. All in All, it begs the question for me WHEN is APA, NPA, or some other professional polygraph organization going to file a class action lawsuit or something against PEOA to get these phonies out of this fine profession; as all of we legitimate examiners are lessened in their impersonating US. I would give the first $1,000.00 toward such an effort !!! IP: Logged |

You can't file a class action suit unless you have a "class" of people actually harmed by Grogan or the PEOA. The APA hasn't been harmed (legally), so we can't sue Grogan. You need many of his victims to come forward, file complaints and then ask a judge to put them all together in a single class action suit. You're probably harming the APA more by claiming they are failing to act than has Grogan. I don't think you can "harm" an industry (polygraph) in a fashion that would meet the legal elements of some type of tort. Ask an attorney. You, however, could file a suit against the PEOA if you can prove it harmed you. If you are successful in that, I'd bet you could others on board, but you're not going to find a lawyer who'll take your case (maybe your money, but not your case). IP: Logged |
